Discover the finalists of the Ecommerce Awards 2021

The Ecommerce Awards are the benchmark awards in Spanish electronic commerce that are awarded to companies in the eCommerce sector, in recognition of their contribution to innovation and development, as well as their contribution to the digital economy. This year we celebrate its 12th edition, with two very important novelties: we are launching two new categories, and the award ceremony will once again be face-to-face.

A great representation of the Spanish online sector

Between July 1 and September 20, more than 120 eCommerces submitted their application in the 10 available categories. All the nominations were evaluated by the 28 members of the jury, among whom are professionals of recognized prestige in the sector such as Reyes Justribó, General Director of IAB Spain, Emilio Márquez, CEO of the La Latina Valley Debate Club or Miriam Peláez, Co -Founder & CMO PickASO.

All of them have evaluated for days the data and documentation presented by each of the applications and, finally, we can now announce the three finalists in each category. These finalists bring a global vision of electronic commerce, with businesses of multiple verticals, strategies and sizes.

Pure player with €28 million turnover: this is the average profile of the finalist

Among the most relevant data, the total turnover of all the projects that have been presented exceeds 3,700 million euros and their predominant profile as pure players stands out, with an average annual turnover that exceeds 28 million euros per year , with more than 30 online stores above 10 million . Its average basket stands at €167.58, an average annual traffic of 14.6 million users.

All the companies that compete for the awards are optimistic about the closing forecast for 2021. On average, the finalists foresee a growth in their turnover of 24.6% compared to the previous year. Among the most represented verticals, those of vehicles, cosmetics, decoration and pets stand out.

Best marketing campaign for eCommerce

Intended to reward the best campaigns developed between 09/01/2020 and 08/31/2020. The finalists are:

Blue Banana Brand

The youth clothing brand launched its Banana Santa promotion last April on Instagram, coinciding with Easter, giving away a total of 360 sweatshirts, one every 100 seconds for a period of 10 hours. This means that approximately every two minutes they announced the name of a winner in the comments.

This year the Futbol Emotion team has launched a new mobile app, developed in-house like the rest of its electronic product portal.
