CAREER AS AN ACTRESS

Berta Vázquez, stage name of Birtukan Tibebe, rose to stardom for her role as Rizos in the hit series Vis a Vis.

Ukrainian by birth and of Ethiopian origin, since she was 3 years old she lived and grew up in Elche, a city that she left when she came of age to try her luck in Madrid after having trained in dance at Paola Yeray's Elche school.

In 2013 she wanted to participate in the musical contest "La Voz" but she was not selected. Here you can see the video:

She already settled in the capital and while the castings resisted her, she had to work as public relations in a nightclub and as a waitress in a local in Chueca.
