The 72 elaborations that compete in the XVII Picadillo Tapas Contest

The voice

The XVII edition of the Picadillo Tapas Contest begins this Thursday with 72 tapas in 58 establishments competing to be the best in the city of A Coruña. There will be no shortage of restaurants that are already common in this contest, such as La Esquina de Valentina, La Mansión, Ayó Pasta Bar, Cantón 23, La Confusion or Buenasuegra.

The public that tastes the tapas will also have its leading role in the Picadillo Tapas Contest since it will be able to choose the Picadillo Cidade da Coruña Award. As a novelty, the vote will be for the first time through a web-app created for the contest. To access it they will have to scan the QR codes that will be in the establishments.

Tribute to “La Codorniz” in Afundación

Afundación will host at its headquarters in A Coruña at 7:30 p.m. an act of commemoration on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the creation of the satirical magazine La Codorniz, one of the milestones of intelligent and irreverent humor in the years of the Franco dictatorship. Rompente's new show arrives this Thursday in A Coruña (Centro Ágora. 8:00 p.m.). “Human, more human” exhibition at the Barrié Foundation

The Human, more human exhibition, led by the Barrié and la Caixa foundations, was inaugurated in honor of people and will be available until January 23 next year.

The works of Clara Martín at the EF Business School

Starting today, the artist's work fills the walls of EF Business School thanks to the support of the Venancio Salcines Foundation, whose social objectives include supporting current art and Galician artists.

Through the exhibition O que comen as bruxas, Martín brings together a collection of collages (femmage) made from small pieces of photographs from the world of fashion and advertising. The union of these fragments results in the portrait of a woman that will also be accompanied by a short story. It will be possible to enjoy the exhibition until January 8, 2022.
