Apple's net income grew 64% in 2021 | The Economist
The technology giant Apple, registered a growth in its net income of 64.9% in 2021 reaching 94,680 million dollars, while its income improved 33.3% to 365,817 million dollars.
The world's most valuable public company saw a 39% jump in net sales from iPhones, while sales of its Mac computers grew 23% last year.
For its part, the sale of electronic tablets, iPad, rose 25%, while the rest of the products such as cables, headphones, among others rose 25 percent.
In addition, its net sales in services registered a 27% growth, according to its 2021 data compared to the previous year.
Net sales in the Chinese market were the ones that had the greatest rebound, since in their data registered for 2021 against 2020 they grew 23.8% and totaled 68,366 million dollars.
Japan was the second market with the greatest impact in this area, increasing 32.98%, adding 28,482 million dollars, while the European continent was placed in third place with 89,307 million, an increase of 30.11 percent.
For its part, in America, Apple's net sales totaled 153,306 million dollars, reflecting a growth of 23.08% year-on-year.
The company listed on the Nasdaq has a capitalization value of 2.61 billion dollars and after the closing of the stock market, around 5:00 pm Mexico City time, its shares rose 5.21 percent.
However, at the close of operations this Thursday, their titles were placed at 159.22 dollars each, reflecting a drop of 0.29% percent.
