2021 time change in the United States: set the clock back one hour for winter

This weekend the United States will turn its clocks back an hour as it has done since Benjamin Franklin had the idea in 1748. This time change has had its ups and downs, in some cases it was forgotten and in others it was implemented more rigorously. . In 1966 the time change became official with the Uniform Hours Act, in which the States could be exempt if they so agreed. Bush Energy Policy Act established that the time change in summer should take place on the second Sunday in March and return to its normal time on the first Sunday in November. What states do not change their time?

Miami and most of Arizona do not change the time and keep the same time all year round. Other territories such as Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands do not either.
