Investing.com - At 20 minutes to start the session, Berkeley (lon: BKGH) Energy (MC: Bky) decided “to suspend precautionary, with immediate effects the negotiation in the stock interconnection system of the actions, or other values that give the right toIts subscription, acquisition or sale, of the entity, while relevant information is disseminated ".

The company reported before the opening of the market to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) that it had stopped the negotiation of the shares in the Australia Stock Exchange because it has received a claim from Singapore Mining Acquisition Co Pte Ltd(A subsidiary of the Investment Authority of Oman (OIA), previously the General Reserve Fund of the State of Oman) in relation to the investment agreement and the convertible promissory note held in 2017.

The demand alleges the immediate payment of the main amount of 65 million dollars of the convertible promissory it's a statement.

"The company strongly opposes accusations and claims made by OIA and is currently looking for legal advice in relation to the matter.The interruption of the ASX operations will be maintained until the foregoing is announced with respect to the above or the opening of operations in ASX on November 4, 2021, "adds the firm, which also pointed out that the negotiation of the firmIn the bags of London and Spain during this period it would not be affected.
