The Teresa María Gross Brown Nation presents its first book for children “The Traveling Salamanders”
Lawyer, wife, mother and grandmother Teresa María Gross Brown publishes her first children's story Las Salamandras Viajeras, where through a nostalgic and imaginative journey through San Bernardino she talks about the adventure of emigrating and the value of making new friends.
With illustrations by Lucas We, this material was thought and created entirely in Paraguay.
Teresa María Gross Brown explained that these stories arose from her imagination, inspired by her summers in San Bernardino, where she spent her childhood as did her children and grandchildren, in her house called La Lilia, located in the historic center of the city, very close to the emblematic Ypacaraí Lake.
Thus, this city was the main setting for the stories she imagined to transmit values and creativity to the children in her life. One of them is Las Salamandras Viajeras, a literary resource used as an education so that children lose their fear of reptiles and thus appreciate the small animals that freely inhabit the mansions of San Bernardino.

To the universe created by Teresa María are added the illustrations of Lucas We, a contemporary artist who brings the characters to life by placing them in a space full of colors and fantasy.
The book, hardcover and printed in color, was designed by Dulce Romero Pereira, edited by Adriana Morro and produced by Maika Rasmussen. The book costs G. 87,900 and can be purchased at El Café de Acá, Teko toy stores and La Lilia Café (San Bernardino).
