Smiling and with a very good vibe. This is how Ana Urrutia, Ane Ibarzabal and Aitor Albizu have welcomed 2022, the presenters in charge of broadcasting the chimes on ETB2, which took place in the Plaza de España in Vitoria. During the minutes before twelve, they had an entertaining conversation in which they alluded to the current situation of the coronavirus and asked the spectators for prudence. Albizu, who runs the magazine 'We take to the streets' together with Ibarzabal and who has worn a sophisticated black tuxedo and bow tie, couldn't be better surrounded than by these two professionals. Ana and Ane wore their blonde hair, current and carefree, impeccable. But they didn't just draw parallels with her hairstyle. Their totally opposite looks are the work of the same designer: the Biscayan couturier Eder Aurre.
Tonight, they have formed the most sophisticated black and white pairing. Ane Ibarzabal's special outfit has been made up of a dark velvet 'body' with a "very marked" shoulder pad and a square neckline. To which the most promising designer from Euskadi has included a long silk organza overskirt embroidered with 3D flowers. She has also enhanced her waist with a 'grosgrain' bow of the same colour. "The look is very her," says Aurre. She completed the look with high-heeled shoes from the Italian firm 'Miu Miu' and large silver flower-shaped earrings.

At the other extreme, Ana Urrutia has opted for a pristine white tuxedo. "She wanted to go in a suit yes or yes," says Aurre. The flattering crepe ensemble features a satin lapel blazer with high shoulder padding, double breasted placket and black beaded jewel buttons. "On her cuffs she wears black and white two-tone ostrich feathers," the couturier specified, who has also created an ankle-length skinny fit for her in the same tone. Complete the look with black snake-shaped methacrylate earrings and 'Kitten' shoes with Swarovski crystals.

Joseba FiestrasEder Aurre's phone rang two weeks ago. On the other side, was Amaia Azcona, the person in charge of EiTB Clothing, the team of stylists who dress the chain's well-known faces. "He told me that nothing suited them for África Baeta and asked me if it was possible to have any pieces from my collections," he recalls. These catwalk designs did not fit what the stylist was looking for. For this reason, the renowned designer set out to make a tailor-made garment exclusively for the occasion. In this way, a week ago she put on her robe and hung the measuring tape around her neck to shape the dress that was going to make the presenter of 'Teleberri' shine on the last night of the year. The proposal to design a unique model for Ane came a few days later. Until then everything was rolling.
Change of plans two days before the big night
The chimes are also suffering the onslaught of the sixth wave of the pandemic. Last Wednesday, Ana Obregon "fell off the poster" of TVE 1 after learning of her covid infection. A few days before, África Baeta canceled its participation in the EiTB2 program for the same reason. An unforeseen event that caused her to be replaced by Ana Urrutia, who hosts the 'Eguraldia' show.
Some last-minute changes in plans that turned the process of creating her outfit into a real long-distance race. "The dress of Africa was paralyzed this week," says the designer. Minutes after hearing the news, the EiTB Clothing team informed the couturier of his replacement by Ana Urrutia: «They told me that they were going to look for a tuxedo for her. After I got off the phone, I started thinking, 'What if I do it to him? Will you give me time?' Lost to the river. I called Amaia to tell her that I would create her suit," she says. "Are you crazy?" the stylist replied. "I told him I was taking a risk and I got to work," admits this young Portuguese man, who with a lot of effort and tenacity has gone from creating his designs in his brother's old room to shining with them at the bells of ETB2.
With everything under control, at 4:00 p.m. on the last day of the year, Ana Urrutia was in charge of taking the two outfits by taxi to Vitoria. A quarter of an hour before welcoming this new 2022, the presenters of the program, including Ane Ibaizabal and Ana Urrutia, made their stellar appearance especially excited with dresses by designer Eder Aurre. «I have fulfilled a dream. It has been a few days of a lot of work, stress and little sleep, but good feelings always prevail, "he says. An experience that he hopes will become a tradition and become the prelude to new opportunities. «The next one, Anne Igartiburu?». "Would be pleased!".
