Aitana Ocaña has released a new single, Berlin, on Friday, September 17. In a matter of hours, her video clip adds more than 300,000 views on YouTube, where she has already managed to sneak into the list of music trends.

The song, which is less than two and a half minutes long, starts as a pop theme that follows the line of her latest album, 11 Reasons. However, upon reaching the chorus, a reggaeton base can be heard. "I don't know what will happen in Berlin, if this is going to be the end, but it bothers me more to have to wait for you," sings the Catalan.

The composition is inspired by the relationship that the artist maintains with Miguel Bernardeau. She had declared last May in an interview with Ibai Llanos: "I like to talk about heartbreak in my music and sometimes I put myself in the situation that I have left him with him and I make up stories in my head to start writing" .

In her chat with the 'streamer' she had already talked about Berlin and indicated that the title of the song is because her partner was working in the German capital. Her boyfriend went to the city for the filming of 1899, the new series from the creators of Dark for Netflix.

The video from Berlin shows Aitana together with the actor Julio Peña (Acacias 38), giving life to a couple that goes through various ups and downs. The clip is the work of Ambiwo, a directorial duo made up of Iris Valles and Alba Ricart.

This new single from the 'triunfita' follows Although It's Not With Me, her collaboration with Evaluna Montaner, and Ni Una Más, a work with a feminist message. In addition, the singer appears in the remix of Mon Amour, the song with which Zzoilo has reached number one on the Spanish hit list.
