Coronavirus: Alcalá de Henares triples its figures with 2,395 total cases in 14 days
Practically all locations of more than 50.000 inhabitants triple, at least their number of cases. If last week there were no more than 800 cases even in the most affected municipalities such as Boadilla (772.0) or Pozuelo de Alarcón (789.3), now only a Madrid city, Parla, low of the 1.200.
After the Parleño municipality, Alcalá de Henares is the best in the Community of Madrid with 1.212.3 cases of incidence accumulated in the last 14 days (cases per 100.000 inhabitants) with 2.395 Total Coronavirus affected.
And what is worse, the incidence accumulated to one week is 872.1 cases and, still, it is the best figure in the region. Therefore, it is to anticipate that within seven days the data is even worse and exceeds the 1.600 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
In the last 14 days the largest accumulated incidence of cases corresponds to people aged 15 to 44 (and not in the collective from 0 to 14 years as in previous weeks). This age group goes from a rate of 2.6 in the week prior to 4.8 cases per 100.000.The rest of the groups also followed an upward trend, highlighting the 5-14-year-old group with 40%increase, from 3.2 to 4.4 cases per 100.000.In the group with the highest rates, the 80 or more years, the rates increase by 10.3% reaching 138.4 income per 100.000.
The predominant variant has become the omicron with 79.4% (15 days ago was 9.7%) of the samples analyzed, increasing by about 25 points the positive for it of the previous week.Of course, during this sixth wave, the risk of specifying a hospital is reduced by 78.6% (95% CI: 76.4 to 80.6) and by 85.9% (95% CI: 82,2at 88.8) in intensive care for vaccinated cases.
Therefore, maximum strict precaution and surveillance of the norms at all times.Health authorities ask to maintain maximum attention to all the rules we already know about: mask, social distance and handwashing, and antigen test as long as it is suspected that it could be in contact with a positive.
Covid figures in the neighborhoods of Alcalá de Henares
In Alcalá de Henares, all basic health areas show an accumulated incidence fired.Nine of the eleven zbs of the city widely exceed 1.000 cases, when the 250 cases are already extreme risk.
La Garena again marks the worst figure with some worrying 1969.92 cases and Our Lady of the Pilar is now the best figure with 785.75, but tripling its figures that last week that already exceeded the extreme risk (265.69 cases byevery 100.000 inhabitants)
Coronavirus data in Alcalá de Henares and other locations
Those who have the greatest in this list are now Boadilla del Monte (2.074.6 cases per 100.000 inhabitants), Rivas Vaciamadrid (1.997.3), Las Rozas (1.956.0) and Pozuelo de Alarcón (1.923.9).To find less than 1.900 cases you have to go to the fifth city with worse figures.None of the localities of the Community of Madrid of more than 50.000 inhabitants baja de los 1.200 cases except Parla (1.193.4).
Datos del informe anterior:
Torrejón de Ardoz, in the eighth place
The neighboring town of Torrejón de Ardoz quadruples its accumulated incidence with respect to last week.It is the eighth best municipality of the Community of Madrid, a week ago it was the sixth, with 1.637.9 cases per 100.000 inhabitants (2.176 Total affected).
But, if we analyze the number of new cases in Torrejón de Ardoz in the last 7 days, there are 1.272.8 cases per 100.000 inhabitants. This can shoot the accumulated incidence to more than 2.500 cases next week with a number much higher than 3.000 Total affected.
In order to measure and compare the incidence of Coronavirus in two different areas, for example, that of a neighborhood with that of a city, or a country, a value that is independent of the absolute figure of cases is needed.
In the case of the daily monitoring of the COVID-19 this is calculated with the accumulated incidence and the criteria has been set in a sample of 100.000 inhabitants en 14 días.It is calculated by dividing the number of cases appeared over a period, among the number of individuals free of the disease at the beginning of the period.
Therefore, a value of 800 cases of accumulated incidence of Covid in a neighborhood does not mean that 800 people have ill in that neighborhood.Rather, he says, “if the neighborhood had 100.000 inhabitants, tendría 800 nuevos enfermos”.To know the real figure you will have to make a rule of three.
Another example: Alcalá de Henares has an approximate population of 200.000 inhabitants. If in a week it has an accumulated incidence of 500 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, quiere decir que en realidad ha tenido nuevos 1.000 cases.
Risk thresholds
It is considered new normality if the accumulated incidence at 14 days is below 20 cases of accumulated incidence;low risk if they are between 20 and 50;of average risk if it is between 50 and 150;high risk between 150 and 250;and extreme risk if it exceeds 250.
