Learn the ultimate trick to reduce skin wrinkles
There are irremediable things in life. One of them is that wrinkles appear on the skin (another issue is later if botox is used to remove them, but they do appear). These usually appear after over 35 or 40 years of age, and are accentuated as we get older.
Wrinkles appear because the body decreases its production of collagen, a fundamental element to preserve the good condition of the skin and the proper functioning of some parts of the body, such as joints, bones or muscles, among others.
Other factors that favor the appearance of wrinkles are excessive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, smoking and repetitive facial expressions, among others.
As we said at the beginning, there are people who opt for the fast track and decide to resort to surgical techniques to remove wrinkles from their face. However, there is a homemade ingredient that will be your best ally to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and expression lines: olive oil.
Olive oil
Perhaps you had never imagined turning to olive oil to say goodbye to wrinkles, but it is. The oil has moisturizing properties and essential fats that benefit the dermis. According to a study published in 2001 in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition, the incorporation of oil in the daily diet helps to minimize the presence of wrinkles on our face.
In addition, the Spanish Heart Foundation endorses the consumption of olive oil, since it protects against inflammation, oxidative stress and cardiovascular risk caused by aging. As the oil is rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, it is ideal for raising HDL (good) cholesterol levels, lowering bad cholesterol, controlling hypertension, preventing the onset of diabetes and reducing the onset of thrombosis.
For the oil to help us reduce wrinkles and expression lines, we must first introduce it into our diet, either with salads or when cooking any other type of food.
Once we have introduced it into our diet, we must start preparing natural masks made from olive oil. For this, we will need:
Peel the avocado and add the pulp to a bowl. Add a tablespoon of oil and mix it to get a homogeneous paste. When it has the texture we want, you will apply it to your face (remember to wash it before applying the mask!) and leave it there for about 15-20 minutes. After the time, remove it with warm water and gently massage your face.
With this mask, you will be able to hydrate and nourish your skin, protect it from external agents and heal the conditions that are on your skin.
