"Never Seen Anything Like That": Attempts to kill a woman with her shoelaces at an airport
The video of the attack on a woman while she was sitting at a bus stop in South Florida, United States, was broadcast on social networks.
Aaron Quinones, 27, tried to strangle the unidentified victim, 26, with shoelaces at a location near the Miami airport.
Authorities are charging him with attempted felony homicide following the attack, according to the Miami Dade Police Department. So far there is no indication that the two knew each other, the Daily Mail reported.

The video shows Quinones with a neck pillow propped up in his backpack, quietly walking behind the victim, before reaching out to place the cords around his neck.
Assailant was arrested numerous times
Cindy Simpson, a former employee of one of the airlines, told 7 News television that she travels frequently and that she never thought the station and the area were unsafe.
“I never saw anything like that. That's really sad,” she expressed. "I can't imagine why someone would take the laces off their tennis shoes and strangle someone. That's horrible".
Quiñones has an extensive history of prior arrests in North Carolina dating back to 2013, when he was just 19 years old. This was certified by a search of public records carried out by the Daily Mail.
According to records, he was arrested just two years earlier in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a very similar crime against another woman.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, he was charged with misdemeanor simple assault on his girlfriend and held on $500 bond.
County records indicate that when he attacked his ex-girlfriend, Quinones was living in the North Carolina city. However, Miami police said the man is currently homeless in Florida.
